Did you know that babies can receive the same benefits from Osteopathic treatment as adults? Osteopathy is a safe and gentle option for helping both babies and mothers to find relief from pain and discomfort during the postpartum period and throughout infancy. Osteopathic Manual Therapy involves the application of various techniques, such as cranial-sacral therapy, myofascial release, and visceral manipulation with an approach that treats the whole person. Learn about the benefits that Osteopathy offers, and how this gentle care may be appropriate for your little one if they are demonstrating symptoms of fussiness, gassiness or bloating, constipation, head asymmetries, torticolis, or breastfeeding or latching difficulties. As well, Anne-Marie will be sharing various self-care tips to help with stress relief and post-partum pain or discomfort for new mothers.
Anne-Marie Mougeot is an Osteopathic Practitioner with a background in Kinesiology, Yoga, and Personal Training. She has a family-based practice out of Island Optimal Health and Performance.
